Sous Chefs Required for Amazing Seafood Restaurant
Salary: Salary range from $50k to $70k, depending on experience
This client is about to open their sixth location and are currently looking for dedicated chefs to join their team. Their company is make up of some truly fantastic people from some of the biggest names in the industry.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for managing a team of 15- 20 and will be excite about working in a hands-on environment with fresh, quality ingredients.
To be successful in this role candidates will have a basic knowledge of COGS, an understanding of maintaining restaurant inventory and ordering, an ability to maintain purveyor relationships, and an understanding or desire to learn basic restaurant financials.
In addition to the above, successful Sous Chefs will possess the following;
- · New York Food handlers certificate
- · Min of 1-2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef
- · Be available to work on evenings and weekends (5 days out of 7, either a lunch OR dinner shift)
- · Ability to work as part of a team
- · Outgoing and positive attitude with excitement to learn
